Wrongful death of 23-year-old graduate student killed by a speeding City of Seattle police officer travelling 74-mph in a 25-mph zone under construction. Case settled for $29,011,000.00.

Racial harassment by Pierce County Sheriff of young man who was a newspaper deliverer. Case settled for $800,000.00.

Race discrimination in violation of RCW 49.60 for 23 East African truck drivers. Jury verdict in favor of Plaintiffs for $450,000.00 plus attorney fees and costs.

Disability discrimination and wrongful termination in violation of RCW 49.60. Jury verdict in favor of Plaintiff for $250,000.00 $200,00.00 of which designated as “punitive damages.” Court awarded attorney fees and costs. Ninth Circuit reversed punitive damages award based on retroactivity.
